There is no standard formula - but mostly from hearsay and/or experience as to what the good shows/sources are. Often times it's that I'm in the mood for a certain year and try to pick something out that just looks/sounds good. Like, "I want to hear an amazing Foolish Heart opener, so I'll matrix the night after Spectrum 10/20/89 as well..."


Oh, and from requests - about a third of the series is requested material.
